Study questions: can parents trust negative prenatal genetic tests?
NCT ID NCT07342933
Summary
This study follows children who had advanced genetic testing during pregnancy because ultrasound scans showed potential concerns. Researchers want to see how these children develop after birth and understand whether a negative genetic test result truly means there are no underlying genetic conditions. The study tracks development milestones in children up to age 4 to help improve prenatal testing accuracy and parental counseling.
