First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a 40-minute hands-on breastfeeding class during the third trimester can prevent sore nipples and breast engorgement in first-time mothers. 100 pregnant women will be split into two groups: one gets the class plus an e-booklet, the other gets only the e-booklet. Researchers will check breastfeeding technique, nipple pain, and engorgement after birth.
