NCT ID NCT07316387

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether taking mild painkillers like paracetamol or NSAIDs during pregnancy is linked to differences in brain development, behavior, and language in children aged 2 to 4. Researchers will follow 685 children from an existing study in Denmark, using parent questionnaires to assess executive function, attention, emotional health, and language skills. The goal is to better understand potential risks, not to test a new treatment.
