Exercise program aims to speed liver transplant recovery

Summary

This study tests whether a structured exercise program before and after a liver transplant can improve recovery and reduce complications. Sixty adults waiting for a liver transplant will take part. They will exercise for two months before surgery and continue for up to a year after. Researchers will track hospital stays, complications, and quality of life.
