Prehabilitation program aims to boost strength and mood in head and neck cancer patients

Summary
This study tests a prehabilitation program for 60 adults with head and neck cancer. About 4 weeks before surgery or chemoradiotherapy, patients start a personalized plan of exercise, nutrition advice, and psychological counseling, continuing through treatment and 2 weeks after. Researchers will measure how well patients stick to the program and whether it improves physical function, nutrition, and quality of life.
