Summary
This study tested a program that combines pre-surgery preparation (prehabilitation) with enhanced recovery methods for elderly patients having spine surgery. The goal was to reduce complications and improve quality of life. 164 participants were randomly assigned to either the program or standard care, and researchers tracked their recovery for 90 days after surgery.
