NCT ID NCT07671625

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a program of physical therapy, nutritional planning, and psychological support before and after surgery can help patients with locally advanced esophageal, gastroesophageal junction, or stomach cancer recover better. Sixty participants will follow the program and be monitored for changes in fitness, sleep quality, fatigue, and quality of life. The goal is to reduce serious complications after surgery, which currently occur in up to 80% of patients.
