Can a 'Prehab' bootcamp prepare patients for major back surgery?

NCT ID NCT05452057

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether a 'prehabilitation' program is practical to run before major spinal deformity surgery. The program aimed to prepare patients with exercise, nutrition advice, and stress management. Researchers enrolled 6 adults to see if they could complete the program and if it might help reduce hospital stays and complications after surgery.
