Pre-Surgery prep cuts pain and complications for women with cancer
NCT ID NCT07188662
Summary
This study tested whether a special pre-surgery program could help women recover better from surgery for gynecologic cancers. The program included physical exercise, nutritional advice, and psychological counseling before the operation. Researchers compared 140 women who received this 'prehabilitation' to those who had standard care, looking at pain, complications, hospital stay, and overall wellbeing after surgery.
