Getting stronger before the fight: new study tests Pre-Surgery prep for blood cancer
NCT ID NCT07341698
Summary
This study is testing if a personalized exercise and nutrition program before a stem cell transplant helps patients recover better. It will compare patients who do this 'prehabilitation' to those who receive standard care alone. The main goal is to see if the program improves patients' quality of life, reduces hospital stays, and helps them maintain muscle strength.
