Could a vitamin in pregnancy shape your Child's lungs?

NCT ID NCT03229317

Summary

This study looked for a connection between a mother's vitamin D level in early pregnancy and her child's lung health years later. Researchers tested the lung function of 142 children aged 5-6 and compared it to their mothers' vitamin D measurements from pregnancy. The goal was to see if low vitamin D during pregnancy is linked to weaker lungs or a higher chance of asthma in children.
