Pregnancy pill may boost Kids' focus and social skills
NCT ID NCT03028857
Summary
This study tested whether giving pregnant women a nutritional supplement called phosphatidylcholine (a form of choline) could help their children's brain development. Researchers gave either the supplement or a placebo to 216 healthy pregnant women and then tracked their children's behavior, attention, and social skills until age 4. The goal was to see if the supplement taken during pregnancy could prevent later developmental challenges.
