New program aims to give homeless youth control over pregnancy prevention
NCT ID NCT05022134
Summary
This study is testing a counseling program designed to help homeless adolescents and young adults (ages 14-21) prevent unintended pregnancy. Researchers first worked with homeless youth to adapt an existing birth control counseling program for their specific needs. They are now testing if this adapted program helps participants start and continue using effective contraception over a year.
