Scientists track blood cells to predict dangerous pregnancy complications
NCT ID NCT06194643
Summary
This study aims to understand how aspirin affects blood platelets in pregnant patients at high risk for preeclampsia, a serious blood pressure disorder. Researchers will collect blood samples from about 66 patients before and during pregnancy to see if platelet changes are linked to pregnancy complications. The goal is to gather knowledge that may help predict or understand adverse outcomes, not to test a new treatment.
