Researchers ask: does dental knowledge protect pregnant Moms' teeth?
NCT ID NCT01675180
Summary
This study aimed to understand the connection between what pregnant women know about oral health, their attitudes toward dental care, and their actual risk of getting cavities. Researchers surveyed and tested nearly 100 pregnant women in Norway to see if better information and positive attitudes led to healthier mouths. The goal was to learn if providing guidance during pregnancy could help improve oral health and reduce cavity risk.
