Simple test could reveal hidden hydration clues in pregnancy
NCT ID NCT03823820
Summary
This study aims to see if a quick, non-invasive bedside test can accurately measure changes in body water during pregnancy and labor. Researchers want to understand if conditions like pre-eclampsia or severe morning sickness affect hydration, and if better hydration tracking could improve outcomes. The study will enroll 900 pregnant women, including those with certain medical conditions and those having planned procedures.
