Scientists map normal pregnancy blood to spot dangerous clots

NCT ID NCT06133621

Summary

This study aimed to establish normal reference values for a specific blood clotting test (dRVVT) in healthy pregnant women. The goal is to help doctors better interpret test results to identify women at risk for serious pregnancy complications linked to abnormal blood clotting, such as pre-eclampsia. The study involved 100 participants, comparing results from women with normal pregnancies to those who had developed complications.
