New device could help doctors spot dangerous bleeding after birth
NCT ID NCT04753671
Summary
This study aimed to establish normal measurement ranges for a bedside blood clotting device used during pregnancy and after delivery. Researchers measured 31 healthy pregnant women to understand what typical clotting looks like when there is no bleeding problem. The goal is to use these normal ranges to help doctors quickly identify and treat dangerous postpartum bleeding in the future.
