New hope for young women with breast cancer: imlunestrant trial launches

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called imlunestrant in premenopausal women with estrogen receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. Some participants will also receive ovarian suppression. The trial compares imlunestrant to tamoxifen to see how it affects cancer cells and the ovaries. Up to 600 women will take part for up to 6 months.
