Early preeclampsia test could save thousands of moms and babies

Summary
This study tests whether screening for preeclampsia in the first trimester (weeks 11-14 of pregnancy) can reduce serious health problems for mothers and babies. About 14,500 pregnant women will be randomly assigned to receive the screening or standard care. The goal is to see if early detection and treatment can prevent severe complications like preterm birth or low birth weight.
