First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether a simple screening test in early pregnancy (11-14 weeks) can predict preeclampsia, a dangerous condition causing high blood pressure. Researchers will compare outcomes for 14,500 pregnant women who receive the screening versus those who don't. The goal is to see if early detection reduces severe complications like premature birth or death for mothers and babies.
