Genetic clues to pregnancy complication in egg donation cases

NCT ID NCT07178652

Summary

This study aims to understand why pregnancies from egg donation have higher rates of preeclampsia, a serious pregnancy complication. Researchers will collect cheek swabs from mothers, children, and egg donors to analyze specific genetic combinations. By comparing those who developed preeclampsia with those who didn't, they hope to identify genetic patterns linked to higher risk.
