NCT ID NCT04356599
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested whether a special PET/CT scan could predict delayed brain injury in 35 people who had a bleeding stroke from a ruptured aneurysm. The scan measured early changes in brain blood flow and sugar use. The goal was to see if these measurements could identify patients at risk for later brain damage, helping doctors intervene sooner.
