First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study aims to find early warning signs of acute kidney injury in children (ages 1 month to 18 years) admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit. Researchers will track 100 children over one year to see which risk factors—like sepsis, shock, or use of a breathing machine—are most linked to kidney damage. The goal is to help doctors spot kidney problems sooner and improve care.
