Summary

This study follows 700 people who had a cardiac arrest and were treated with a machine called ECMO. Researchers want to find out which patients are most likely to survive and recover well, and to improve how doctors choose who gets this treatment. They will also check if the ECMO equipment stays sterile and works properly when prepared ahead of time, and how survivors feel years later.
