Simple blood test may predict radiation complications in breast cancer patients

Summary
This study looks at whether a special blood test (NovaGray RILA Breast®) can predict serious side effects from radiotherapy in women who have had a mastectomy with immediate breast implant reconstruction. Researchers will follow 250 patients to see if the test can identify who is at higher risk for capsular contracture (hardening of the implant). The goal is to personalize treatment and reduce complications.
