Summary
This study looks at 95 adults with complicated parapneumonic effusion (infected fluid around the lung) who need surgery. Doctors will use a scoring system and ultrasound before surgery to predict whether a simpler or more complex procedure is needed. The goal is to see if these tools can help choose the right surgery and improve recovery.
