Summary
This study aims to find out if measuring a patient's internal belly fat with a CT scan can help doctors predict how well biologic drugs will work for their ulcerative colitis. Researchers will scan 200 adult patients before and after starting treatment to see if changes in fat relate to treatment success. The goal is to find a better way to choose the right treatment from the start, rather than relying on trial and error.
