Summary
This study aims to help emergency room doctors better identify when dizziness or vertigo is caused by a serious neurological problem like a stroke, rather than a minor inner ear issue. Researchers will test a simple bedside examination method on 825 adult patients coming to the ER with these symptoms. The goal is to reduce misdiagnosis and cut down on unnecessary and costly brain scans.
