Simple blood tests may predict sepsis danger

NCT ID NCT07332715

Summary

This study aims to see if two common blood tests, when used together, can help doctors predict which older patients with sepsis are most at risk for serious complications. Researchers will observe 80 patients aged 65 and older who are admitted to the ICU with sepsis. The goal is to find a simple way to identify high-risk patients early so they can get more intensive care.
