Doctors seek early clues to predict recovery in children with rare paralysis disorder

NCT ID NCT07208370

Summary

This study aims to identify early signs that can predict how well children will recover from Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), a rare autoimmune disorder that causes muscle weakness and paralysis. Researchers will follow 80 children aged 1 month to 18 years who are diagnosed with GBS, tracking their symptoms and recovery over time. The goal is to help doctors identify which children might need more intensive care and support early in their treatment.
