Can we predict which seniors will struggle after cancer surgery?
NCT ID NCT07412379
Summary
This study aims to identify factors that predict how well seniors (65+) recover their physical function and quality of life after curative surgery for gastrointestinal cancers like colon or stomach cancer. Researchers will follow 327 patients for up to 5 years after their surgery to see what personal or medical factors are linked to better or worse recovery. The goal is to create a model to help doctors better prepare and support older patients through cancer treatment.
