Scientists seek early warning system for dangerous pregnancy complications
NCT ID NCT07144839
Summary
This study aims to develop a tool to predict placental insufficiency, a condition where the placenta doesn't work properly, which can lead to stillbirth and other serious pregnancy complications. Researchers will follow 640 pregnant participants through their pregnancies, using ultrasound scans and blood tests to gather data. The goal is to create a model that can identify women at risk earlier, potentially allowing for better monitoring and care.
