Summary
This study aims to develop a test to predict which newborns will need prolonged breathing support. Researchers will analyze a small sample of stomach fluid routinely collected after birth from 500 babies born at 32 weeks or later. The goal is to create a tool that helps doctors identify infants at risk for serious breathing problems early on.
