First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study aims to see if analyzing a patient's immune system before lung surgery can predict serious complications like pneumonia or collapsed lungs. Researchers will collect blood samples from 100 adults scheduled for keyhole lung surgery and use a special model to calculate risk. The goal is to find early warning signs that could help doctors prevent problems after surgery.
