Simple blood tests could predict joint surgery success

NCT ID NCT07358455

Summary

This study aims to identify simple blood markers that can predict whether surgery to treat infected joint replacements will be successful. Researchers will follow 200 patients who have surgery for infected artificial joints, tracking their recovery over at least 12 months. The goal is to help doctors better plan treatments by understanding which patients are most likely to benefit from different surgical approaches.
