Doctors hunt for clues to prevent dangerous infections after stone surgery

NCT ID NCT07295925

Summary

This study aims to identify warning signs that can predict which patients might develop a fever or serious infection after a common, minimally invasive kidney stone surgery. Researchers will follow 250 patients having the procedure, collecting detailed information before, during, and after their operation. The goal is to find patterns that help doctors better identify at-risk patients and improve safety.
