First seen Nov 25, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at 3,000 people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer to see if a model using CT scans, lung function tests, and blood markers could predict how well immunotherapy combined with chemotherapy works. It also aimed to predict the risk of a serious side effect called chemotherapy-induced pneumonitis (lung inflammation). The goal is to help doctors personalize treatment and avoid severe complications.
