First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study will follow 300 older adults (65+) who are in the intensive care unit after surgery. Researchers want to see if a frailty score, a daily activities score, and routine blood tests can help predict which patients are at higher risk of dying. The goal is to help doctors better identify and support those most at risk.
