Can a simple Check-Up predict survival after surgery?
NCT ID NCT07279519
Summary
This study aims to find early signs that can predict which older patients are most at risk of dying in the intensive care unit (ICU) after surgery. Researchers will follow 300 patients aged 65 and older, checking their frailty, daily living abilities, and initial blood test results when they enter the ICU. The goal is to create a better tool to help doctors identify high-risk patients sooner.
