Scientists build crystal ball for Crohn's and colitis treatments
NCT ID NCT07181525
Summary
This study aims to create a prediction tool to help doctors choose the right biologic medication for patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), which includes Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Researchers will analyze medical information from 200 IBD patients to find patterns that show who is likely to respond well to these expensive treatments. The goal is to improve treatment success rates and reduce costs by avoiding medications that won't work for specific patients.
