New tool aims to cut unnecessary pacemaker surgeries after heart valve procedure
NCT ID NCT07414485
Summary
This study is testing a new prediction tool to identify which patients are at risk for serious heart rhythm problems after a minimally invasive aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Researchers are looking back at data from 210 patients to see if combining simple heart scans with standard heart tracings can better predict who truly needs a permanent pacemaker. The goal is to help doctors avoid unnecessary pacemaker implants while keeping patients safe.
