Blood test could warn of heart rhythm risks after valve surgery
NCT ID NCT07201363
Summary
This study aims to understand why some patients develop heart rhythm problems after a minimally invasive heart valve replacement (TAVI). Researchers will check blood samples from 102 patients before their procedure, looking for signs of inflammation and scarring that might predict these complications. The goal is to help doctors better identify at-risk patients before surgery.
