Can a scan and a blood test predict your future heart attack?

NCT ID NCT05800093

Summary

This study aims to see if combining CT scans of the heart with blood tests can better predict how heart disease will worsen over time. It involves 310 adults aged 50-75 who are at risk for heart disease but don't have symptoms. The goal is to gather knowledge to improve future risk prediction, not to test a new treatment.
