Blood test could predict confusion risk in heart patients
NCT ID NCT07302737
Summary
This study aims to find blood markers that can predict which older adults with heart failure might develop delirium (sudden confusion) during hospital stays. Researchers will test 100 participants to see if certain inflammation and metabolism markers in the blood can identify high-risk patients early. The goal is to help doctors spot warning signs before delirium develops, potentially allowing for earlier support.
