New tool aims to predict who will find colonoscopies painful
NCT ID NCT06635941
Summary
This study aims to create a tool that predicts which patients are likely to feel pain during a colonoscopy done without sedation. Researchers will collect information from 679 patients to identify factors linked to pain and build a more accurate prediction model. The goal is to help doctors identify patients at risk for pain beforehand, so they can take steps to make the procedure more comfortable and encourage more people to get this important cancer screening.
