Summary
This study aims to understand if the specific way a combat limb injury happens can predict who will develop long-term chronic pain. Researchers will observe 100 veterans with recent combat-related limb injuries, tracking their pain levels over 6 months. The study does not test any treatments—it only observes and measures pain to build better prediction tools.
