Scientists hunt for early warning signs of brain fog after revolutionary cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT07075523

Summary

This study aims to understand and predict which cancer patients might experience brain-related side effects after receiving CAR T-cell therapy. Researchers will use brain scans, memory tests, and blood samples from 36 adult patients to look for early warning signs. The goal is to create a tool that can identify patients at risk for these side effects, which can include confusion, headaches, and seizures, soon after treatment.
