Doctors hunt for clues to prevent breathing tube emergencies
NCT ID NCT06989385
Summary
This study aims to identify early warning signs that non-invasive breathing support is failing in hospitalized patients with acute respiratory failure. By observing 325 patients, researchers will look for patterns in vital signs and other data that predict when a patient might need a breathing tube. The goal is to help doctors make better, faster decisions to escalate care and potentially improve patient outcomes.
