NCT ID NCT06729827
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a non-invasive finger cuff device that continuously monitors blood pressure and predicts dangerous drops during planned C-sections. 102 pregnant women were randomly assigned to either standard blood pressure checks or the new device. The goal was to see if the device could reduce the amount and duration of low blood pressure after spinal anesthesia, which can cause nausea and harm the baby.
